Hi, I’m Laura Kanya— Chef, recipe and product developer, photographer, food stylist, mom of two, and the creator of We See Good Food, a space where beautiful food, real-life cooking, and kitchen creativity come together.

I’ve spent more than 25 years in the culinary world—from pastry kitchens and resorts to food manufacturing and R&D. I’ve worked behind the scenes in restaurants, retail, catering, and food production companies, always with the same goal: to make good food approachable, beautiful, and full of flavor.

Along the way, I’ve developed and tested recipes for magazines like EatingWell, Southern Living, FOOD & WINE, Allrecipes, Martha Stewart Living, and Better Homes & Gardens. Lately, I’ve been diving into shelf-stable bakery mix development, natural food color gels, and content creation for brands like Souper Cubes—writing recipes, styling, photographing, and telling food stories through step by step photography.

At We See Good Food, I combine my background in culinary arts (with focus in baking) with a love of storytelling and visuals to help brands (big or small), restaurants, and bloggers bring their food to life through visuals. Whether you need help developing a product, creating a recipe, testing recipes for cookbooks or capturing content for your blog that actually makes people hungry, I’m here to help you make it delicious and beautiful.

Let’s make something good together. You can find me at WeSeeGoodFood.com or follow along on the journey—where every dish tells a story and every bite matters.
